Window Watching

Jester may be a funny girl, but she is also fearless and brave! This smartie is always finding new adventures and is full of surprises. Most recently, she has figured out how a creative way to get to her window perch and watch the birdies.

Cuddle time with Angel!

It might be storming outside with all of this unpleasant hurricane business, but all Angel wants to do is snuggle!

The cuteness of it all!

The kittens are getting bigger every week and they seem to just get cuter and cuter! Angel is still my tiniest little one and we're waiting on him to gain a little more weight before the kittens can get spayed and neutered. Only 0.4 lbs to go until adoption time! He is such a beautiful little boy!

Princess is my biggest pumpkin. She has also become my biggest snuggle bug! She just purrs and purrs and purrs! She is also gorgeous!

Cowboy is such a love and so so handsome. He has such a soft face and a gentle nature. He is always crawling into my lap and nuzzling my cheek.

My tiny tortie, Jester, is quite the stinker! She is super affectionate, but she plays like there is no tomorrow. We are working on learning to nibble on toys and not my fingers... She is fearless.

Studying...

The kittens don't approve of my attempt to study... They think my time is better spent cuddling with them. I agree!

Water for me?

The kittens have their very own water fountain, but somehow water is just tastier when it is in my cup...

Family Photo!

When I came into the kitty room this afternoon the kittens were perfectly posed for a family photo! They are looking super snazzy in their brand new glitter collars from a great shop on Etsy.

Trick or Treat?!

Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation is Trick or Treating for Halloween!

The dogs and cats at Lost Dog don't need candy or sugary goodies this year, but they need lots of love and care until they are adopted. My goal is to raise $10 from 10 people this Halloween and your contribution will go directly to providing food, shelter and essential medical care to those waiting for their forever homes.

Please consider participating in Trick or Treating for Lost Dog by making a contribution to my Halloween basket. Donations can be made by check, credit card, or online at www.lostdogrescue.org/trickortreat.

If you donate $20, then you can name one of my future kittens!

New Scratcher Toy

The kittens inherited a new kong scratcher today from a fellow LDCRF cat foster. Apparently none of their cats liked the toy, but my kittens seem to LOVE it!

The Kittens Meet Apollo!

Since meeting Mamah went so well, we brought in our silly pit bull Apollo to meet the kittens. They loved him and he loved licking them!

The Kittens meet Mamah!

This is the first time that the kittens got to meet one of our dogs. They were very curious and all did really well with our terrier Mamah!

The Costume Kittens have Outfits!

The kittens have all picked out their favorite costumes! My biggest tortie baby is my pretty pretty Princess.

My tinier tortie and wild child is my silly Jester.

My bigger black fluffy is my handsome Cowboy.

And my quiet little fluffy is my sweet sweet Angel.

My little Angel

Angel is my teeniest, tiniest kitten, but this little guy has the biggest heart. He has such a gentle spirit and always taps my fingers ever so softly. There isn't a mean bone in his little body, just loads and loads of love and sweetness. He is going to make some lucky family very happy.

Costume Kittens!

After the kittens' initial weigh in, I was a little doubtful that they would be big enough to be Halloween themed kittens. So I started thinking about other possible names for my little ones... Tonight as I was wandering up and down the Petsmart aisles during an adoption event I saw all of these cute sparkly costumes and I thought "Hmmm... I know! Costume kittens!" So to my boyfriend's dismay, I picked out four tiny costumes - a cowboy, a jester, a princess, and an angel. More pictures to come!

An evening with the kittens...

The fluffies have settled right in and are all about snuggling and playtime. My littlest one has become my biggest love bug. He is so sweet and gentle.

My other blackie is absolutely beautiful. He follows me everywhere and is so so soft.

My pretty torties are all so pretty and playful. They greet me with a chorus of meows and nuzzles every time I come it to feed them.

Here they all are playing, except for my tiniest little fluffy boy who just wanted to sleep and cuddle tonight. Love that munchkin!

Black Fluffies

My little black fluffies are really starting to come out of their shells! My shy shy little black kitten has started purring when I pet him and is even seeking out affection! He is still the tiniest, but he is making up for it during meal time. This little guy can eat! He is a more independent than the other kittens and seems to like to snuggle on his own.

The larger black kitten warmed up quicker than his little brother. He was one of the first to swirl my legs and ask for some loving. He is also quite a fan of his salmon pate. They are growing boys you know!

Here he is hanging with the tortie girls. He's quite the ladies' man and prefers to surround himself with beautiful women...

Tortie love!

The tortie sisters are ruling the room and always exploring. They are quite the little duo and so pretty!

The shy, but gorgeous tortie is starting to warm up and trust me. She now closes her eyes and purrs when I scratch behind her ears. She is a sensitive little one.

My tiny tortie is still a total love bug. She starts meowing at me as soon as I open the door until I come over and love on her. She has a huge purr box for such a tiny kitten and cannot seem to get enough affection. She is definitely the most confident kitten and the leader of the pride.

What beautiful babies I have!

I picked up my new batch of beautiful kittens tonight. These lucky little ones came to us from Washington County, VA and they are ready to take NOVA by storm! First things first, they all got bathes! I gently scrubbed them down, dried them off, and brushed their fluffy coats out. They were all so gentle and sweet. After bath time they got to explore their very own room filled with toys and kitty trees.

I can already see their personalities coming out. The black fluffy boys are a little more reserved than the tortie girls who have been bouncing around. The bigger tortie girl is absolutely gorgeous and bouncing off the walls with excitement. I've nicknamed her Trouble.

The smaller tortie girl is the runt of the litter and super curious. She is very brave and has to try out every toy she finds. She was the first to purr for me and I've nicknamed her Sweetie Pie.

The all black fluffy boy was a little shyer at first, but really loves to be petted. More than anything, he loves to eat. He's my Piggy Wiggy.

The other black fluff ball has a little white on his throat and is a little unsure about all of this ruckus. He has not forgiven me for his bath yet, but he thought that the salmon and shrimp pate was a good start. He has been checking out all of the cubby holes and cautiously walking about. He's my Shy Guy.

One thing is for sure, all of the kittens in this litter are PRETTY! I can't wait to get to know them!
